Criminon Connecticut provides programs for inmates who otherwise would be released to re-offend with no guidance. According to Executive Director Kathy Bowers, “Connecticut programs for inmates are not in abundance and the inmates usually don’t get to do any state programs until they are nearing their release date. However, many are eager to do the Criminon program. I feel that we have helped them not only by providing amazing tools but we do get a lot of inmates on our program when they first arrive in prison and that alone can help them so much. To date, we have issued 1349 certificates for completed Criminon courses.”
